This project began with a blank palette in the backyard. The client wanted lush green space in her backyard. The project involved grading, leveling and constructing multi-levels to provide interest. The retaining wall provided a platform for a safe and attractive play area for the grandchildren.
The wall, constructed out of architectural concrete, gave formality to the play area and created another destination in the backyard. The play area was elevated for maximum visibility for the parents and grandparents as they entertained adults on the patio.
