Our Story
At T.Lake, we recognize the need for landscaping that’s not just beautiful but also smart, safe, and built to last. In practice, most firms either over-promise or under-deliver, leaving you with delays, rework, and regrets. We understand how frustrating that is, because we’ve been hired to fix those messes (and earned lifelong relationships in the process).
For over 30 years, we’ve served commercial and residential clients in all aspects of landscape design, construction, and maintenance, handled by a team of people who know how to wield a shovel and read a CAD file.
For us, landscape design means addressing a space’s history, surroundings, and the many ways people will engage and interact with it.

T.LAKE incorporates in Georgia
T.Lake enters the design-build world at the request of clients who want one point of accountability for quality design and construction. YKK AP America is the first Georgia client and remains a T.LAKE client today. (YKK photo attached from ’92)

The housing bubble bursts and recession ensues.
Backlog takes a hit as developer clients bankrupt, and maintenance clients cut back. The company shifts sales strategy, opens a branch office in Macon and grows by 27%, maintaining an 18 year track record of annual growth.

The sailboat logo gets a redo
The leadership team cements Do Good Work as Core Value #1 and adopts the tenets of EOS and Scaling Up business models. T.Lake begins offering industrial vegetation management and site services. Real growth begins.

Advisory Board Members
T.Lake sons Timothy Lake, Jr. and Aubrey Lake, both GT Civil Engineering majors, join as advisory board members. The company now employs 42 people. The logo is simplified to reflect a single company, providing multiple vertically-integrated services. The sail/leaf remains as a thread from our founding.
Our Approach
Landscaping for Beauty and Practicality
We value hard work
Our crews get their hands dirty every day to ensure a job well done—and we’re proud of that.
We live up to our commitments
Cutting corners in construction and maintenance is all too common. We’re here to change that narrative and get every job right the first time.
We love to solve problems
When a job leaves you stumped, it’s time to call T.Lake. We don’t have every answer, but we’ll work hard to find one or create a brand new solution.
We welcome the unusual
There’s no manual for the dilemmas that arise during landscaping projects. We love those out-of-the-box projects that allow us to flex our creative muscles.
Community Impact
Leaving a Legacy Beyond the Project
At T.Lake, every project is rooted in the belief that outdoor spaces should serve both people and the planet.
Elevating the places where life happens
Whether it’s a public plaza, a corporate HQ, or a multifamily community, we shape environments that feel intentional, enduring, and human.
We believe good work should do good
From sustainable irrigation to long-term site safety, we consider the whole picture—allowing your landscape and your community to thrive.

“The main reason I’m still here after 30 years is because the owner and his family treat you like family, and they really appreciate your hard work. Very few companies care anymore. I don’t want to just be a number where I work.”
John T. Berryhill, III
General Superintendent
“Working for TLake environmental is not just a Job. It’s a hobby, a passion for more than just cutting grass but to see the reactions from the clients face when it’s done the right way; the T.Lake way.”
Gabe A
Crew Leader
As a crew leader for the last year and two months, I really appreciate the people I work with and the feeling of family and community within T Lake. I’ve enjoyed learning to use the Ventrac mower, and I’ve gained more confidence in cutting on steep hills. It’s great to be able to see the progress being made every day, and have the ability to drive by somewhere and say “I did that.”
Alex B
Crew Leader
“From my first day on the job, I felt the warm welcome and strong work ethic of the team. T.Lake provides an environment full of positive energy that can only be contagious. It is a place with true family values that believes in taking care of our people and clients. Here at T.Lake we do not just talk the talk, we walk the walk.”
Josue Ferrel
